No recipe today my pretty pictures illustrating our lunch before yesterday!
This week, we have tested "The papillae Unusual", a nice cellar pub and a very pleasant discovery! Note that this restaurant has been elected by the Fooding 2010 as the Best Cellar Dining! ... So if you make a detour by Pau, remember this place!
The dining room is nicely furnished, a very nice deco, I could not stop me from strafe with my SLR! :-)
You can enjoy lunch with a full menu for 16euros or a la carte 30-45 € with Kazuyuki Zento, cook lapped (Table d'Anvers Conticini time, Maison Courtine , Senderens) with a market cuisine inventive developed that will delight your tastebuds!
We chose the market menu, main course + dessert.
First hake a line so minestrone, very fine, beautifully cooked, a real delight!
Then after a photo session while waiting for dessert, we were regaled with a panacotta caramel and praline brioche ! Simple but very good.
Next time we will try to Salers beef and french fries ... the next table seemed to enjoy! :-)
For wine lovers, 250 references to natural wines (from 3.20 to 4 € glass), the bottle is priced wine shop for lunch and dinner, corkage fee of 7 €. I think Pascal Revol, sommelier converted to wine cellar at the nature of papillae (Paris 14 e ) will advise you better!
Here are the pictures ...
