New Doctor Welcome Letter

Today I offer delicious fish cakes and potatoes taken from Jamie Oliver - Original .
I have slightly modified the recipe. The chili was replaced with paprika etc ... not a fan of the taste buds on fire! I think you can use different kinds of fish or make a mix! it must be very good with salmon for example! Jamie Oliver is also crushed fennel seeds in a mortar, which I did not put in my mix and I replaced the parsley with cilantro. Really it is very simple, fast enough to achieve, Modifiable wish! ... To enjoy with a salad for example!


Fish Cakes South American
For 6-7 patties




300g fillet of cod or other fish fillets
100ml milk
1 bay leaf
300g potatoes, peeled and cubed
1 handful of cilantro or parsley chopped fresh
1 handful chopped fresh mint
zest of a little lime and a little lemon
1 small egg
1 tablespoon chili Espelette
salt / pepper
50g flour
oil neutral
lime for decoration and seasoning final







Preheat oven to 190 ° C.
Put the fish, bay leaf, milk in a baking dish. Salt / pepper. Bake 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, cook potatoes about 15 minutes in boiling water salt (until they are well softened) . Mash the potatoes with a potato masher or fork. Book.

Sewer fish
and crumble it into a bowl. Add the mashed potatoes, coriander, mint, lemon zest, egg, Espelette, a little salt and pepper. Mix and adjust seasoning if necessary.
